Soundtrack remix + d36 Zine launch

Hi everyone,

Just a quick one today. My good friend Ethereal Girl asked about remixing some of the Wretched soundtrack a while ago, and I've just been sent one of the tracks. I love what she's done with it, and I wanted to share it with you.

I don't know how many tracks she's going to do or how we're going to release them, but this was too good not to share.

I'm also very happy to announce that my ZineQuest campaign for d36 went live today and is nearly funded! For more information, check it out here.

Vinyl Update

I heard from DMS this morning, who are now telling me that the arrival date for the vinyl is February 23rd. They had originally said 19/2 and I'm not entirely sure what's changed to push it back by 4 days, but unfortunately I haven't been given any more information. As soon as they arrive I'll get them shipped out to everyone who is waiting for them. I appreciate your patience and I'm sorry this process has taken so long - it's definitely been a learning experience for me in terms of what to expect if I ever decide to do vinyl again!

There are still a handful of people who haven't filled out their surveys on BackerKit. At the end of February, when I've finished fulfilling the vinyl, I'll be refunding any pledges with incomplete surveys. This is your final chance to get them filled out and pay for shipping.

ZineQuest 3

ZineQuest 3 started this week. Last year's ZineQuest was my first time running a Kickstarter (for Under The Floorboards) and I've been planning this year's campaign for a very long time. Next Tuesday 9th February I'll be launching a campaign for d36, a quarterly zine of weird and unusual RPG stuff by some of the best writers in the field. Hi everyone, and happy new year!

This photo is of the final pile of parcels that I shipped out today (after finishing taping them up, obviously), and marks the end of fulfilment for The Wretched! 

The only orders that have not now been sent out are those where surveys haven't been completed or cards have failed and not been updated (and vinyl, which will go out in February). I'm now moving on to fulfilling pre-orders that were placed through my web store, so if you don't get your survey completed soon there's a chance that you won't get the foil stamped cover and will have to wait for the next print run to get your zines (which will be ordered after I've finished fulfilling web store orders). I've given you plenty of notice and sent a double-digits number of emails about this, and unfortunately I don't have the space in my apartment to hold onto stock for months until you fill in your surveys.

ZineQuest 3 - d36 Zine

I mentioned in the last update that I'll be doing ZineQuest again this year, and the reminder page for that project is now live!

This project is going to be really special, and there will only ever be 36 print copies, so if you're at all interested make sure you click through and ask Kickstarter to remind you when this thing goes live.

Penultimate Fulfilment Update

Hi everyone,

This will probably be one of the last updates I write on this campaign! The Wonderfull Discoverie of Witches arrived today after many weeks of waiting, and I've just finished packing up orders for those of you who bought it as an add-on and putting them in the mail. 

The fulfilment progress bar in BackerKit now looks like this:

Those final 99 orders that haven't been shipped out yet are those of you who ordered t-shirts - which will be going out tomorrow - and the 26 people who have still not filled out your reward surveys. I've sent another email reminder containing the link, so please check your junk mail and get those surveys filled in. If you don't fill in the survey and pay for shipping, you don't get your orders. It's that simple.

Aside from the vinyl records, which I'll be sending out in February when they've arrived, tomorrow will see me finishing fulfilment for this campaign. Thank you all so much for your support throughout this. The fact that this game has made some "Best of 2020" lists (like those released by Tabletop Gaming Magazine and Shut Up & Sit Down) is incredible, and I'm really proud of how successful the game and this Kickstarter campaign was.

I've got big plans for 2021. In January I'm releasing a new Wretched & Alone game based on early Assassin's Creed games. In February I'm releasing Dice Souls, a tabletop Souls-like game, as well as launching another Kickstarter during ZineQuest 3 for a small zine called d36. If you'd like to stay updated and know when these things happen, please consider signing up to my mailing list. I promise to send no more than one email a month, and only when I've got something big to announce.

Shipping update

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update on fulfilment for you. It's going well, and I now have the vast majority of orders in the mail.

I only have 271 orders left to send! These are made up of two groups - orders with t-shirts, and orders with The Wonderfull Discoverie of Witches.

As far as t-shirts go, all that's holding them up is that I'm waiting for my boxes to arrive so I can pack them up with the zines and send them. There's a possibility that happens today, but they should be in the post within the next week or so.

As far as Witches - I still haven't heard anything from Mixam, though the estimated delivery date has now changed from the 14th December (when I expected them) to 16th (which, obviously, has already passed) and the status has gone back to "Sent To Production". I had two other orders that this happened to in the past week, and both of them arrived unexpectedly yesterday. I'm hoping the same thing happens with this so that I can get these last zines in the post to you all.

If you ordered vinyl and a zine, your book is in the post and the vinyl will be coming your way in February. I really do appreciate how many of you have been supportive and understanding about this delay.
